Depending on the application, balance type and accuracy requirements, different weight classes are used. High-precision mass standards and fine weights are mainly used in laboratories, calibration facilities and demanding measuring processes. M1, M2 and M3 weights are suitable for commercial balances, industrial balances, testing processes and load applications.

By combining test weights, weight sets, suitable storage and calibration, users receive a practical solution for test equipment management, quality assurance and recurring inspections.

These are used whenever standard weights are not sufficient or special requirements apply to nominal value, design, handling, material or marking.
