Calibration
Calibration by "MASSCAL" – our DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory
Based on DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, the German Accreditation Authority (DAkkS) accredits and monitors metrology laboratories that have demonstrated metrological competence for a specific measurand.
DAkkS is a signatory to the multilateral agreements of the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) for the mutual recognition of calibration certificates, i.e., DAkkS-accredited calibration certificates are internationally recognised.
Issue of a DAkkS-accredited calibration certificate for weights:
- Description of the calibrated test weights with indication of the material and density
- Description of the measured magnetic properties (susceptibility and polarisation)
- Description of the conventional weight value and/or the mass, the measurement uncertainty and the environmental conditions
- Optionally, the conformity (compliance with the specified accuracy class) can be certified
The DAkkS-accredited calibration certificate documents the traceability to national standards for the representation of units in accordance with the International System of Units (SI).
The user is responsible for observing a reasonable period of time for repeating the calibration. Recommendations on verification and recalibration periods can be determined together with the customer.
