High precision weights E2

E2 standard weights are used as adjustment weights, test weights, verification weights and calibration weights for precision balances and demanding weighing applications. They are particularly suitable for balances of accuracy class I and for comparison measurements on mass comparators.

E2 test weights are used, among other applications, in quality assurance, calibration laboratories and applications with high requirements for measuring accuracy and traceability. They can also be used for the calibration and verification of weights of classes F1 and F2 according to OIML R111.

Marking of E2 Weights

According to OIML R111-1:2004, weights of class E2 are not marked with their nominal value or with unit information. For differentiation, weights of the same nominal value that occur more than once in weight sets can be marked with dots or stars.

In addition, up to three customer-specific user markings, such as characters, letters or numbers, can be applied. This allows the weights to be clearly identified as test or measuring equipment and better integrated into internal test equipment management.

These user markings can be specified individually when ordering.
