Preparation of Weights

Reconditioning, adjustment and recalibration of weights are among the services offered by HÄFNER. Both HÄFNER weights and suitable third-party products can be inspected, cleaned, reconditioned, adjusted and subsequently recalibrated.

Professional reconditioning can be useful if weights are contaminated, damaged, worn or outside the permissible tolerance. After inspecting the condition, we assess whether reconditioning is technically and economically feasible.

As Good as New – Where Technically Possible

The aim of reconditioning is to restore weights to a clean, usable and calibratable condition. Surface finish, marking, condition, adjustment options and metrological properties are taken into account.

After reconditioning, the weights can be calibrated or recalibrated. This provides you with up-to-date documentation for test equipment management, quality assurance and audits.
